How could I have used this much water?
Here are a few reasons the water bill might be high:
- Check your toilets! A leaky toilet can waste 200 gallons of water per day.
- Have you had extra guests lately?
- Broken water pipe - check basement or crawlspace
- Leaky faucets can waste 20 gallons a day.
- Kids being home from summer break and/or vacation.
